Bring 1 liter of water to a boil for every 100g of pasta, adding 10g of salt per 100g. Add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions, usually 6–10 minutes, depending on the shape. Stir occasionally and taste a minute before the recommended time for desired "al dente" texture. Drain and serve with your favorite sauce.
