This multipurpose organic olive oil soap, originates from Marseille, France. It's a versatile soap, hypoallergenic, meaning people with sensitive skin could wash their hair & body! 

Could also be used as a general cleaner around the house, ideal for wooden surfaces as the oils replenish and preserve the wood's surface, there are a lot of recipes where you can create a homemade cleaner or simply rub the block with a wet cloth and polish your surfaces! Marseille soap is excellent cleaning marble and ceramic surfaces too! 

You can also create a homemade laundry detergent using this recipe: 

- 1 Cup / 60g grated Marseille soap
- 2 L Water
- ¼ Cup Baking Soda (as water softener)*
- ¼ Cup White Wine Vinegar (as fabric softener)*
*optional

- Melt the Marseille soap shavings in boiling water.
- Once melted, allow to cool before mixing in the baking soda and vinegar.
- Use as normal laundry detergent.
