Karolina's Brunch Club is back!

 

A SUSHI making workshop with Penelope Vasquez Hadjilyra, author and co-translator of “Karolina eats the Seasons” illustrated children’s book and Karolina Maris Sokratous Vasquez, protagonist of the story! 

 

Young friends will learn everything they need to know about seasonal AUTUMN food and making SUSHI at home: how to prepare sticky rice, then select and cut fresh seasonal vegetables and fruit, and continue into shaping and rolling! Once the SUSHI is ready, participants will clean up their workstations, serve the food and have their freshly made lunch together!

 

When: Sunday, 17th November, 2024
Where: agno zero waste grocery, Gladstonos 59, Limassol
Time: 11am - 1pm
Ages: 6-11

The workshop will be held in English & Greek

 

Workshop includes:

  • Book reading of Karolina eats the seasons illustrated book followed by a short discussion on preparing food at home with local seasonal produce
  • SUSHI making workshop: preparation of one SUSHI roll (8 sushi)
  • Workshop station clean-up
  • Lunch!

Workshop Offering

  • Recipe document with all measurements and procedures 
  • List of tools and where to source what you might need to create SUSHI at home

To ensure everyone enjoys the full experience, we have only one important rule and that is to please be on time. If you're more than 20 minutes late, we won't be able to accommodate you.
