Made from seeds which have been cleaned, dehulled, lightly roasted, steamed and flaked. Bring 2 1/2 cups water to a boil, add 1 cup quick oats, stir gently once, cover and reduce heat to low & simmer. Cooks in approximately 5-8 minutes.

You could use oats in many different ways. These oat flakes can be used to make cookies, granola, classic oatmeal and even non-dairy milk. To make oat milk, use 2 cups of oats to 7 cups of cold water, the ratio can be adjusted to your liking. In a blender, add the oats, cold water, and sweeteners such as maple syrup and vanilla extract. Make sure to not heat, blend only for 20-30 seconds. Through a nut milk bag, strain and gently squeeze the bag. That's it, your non-dairy milk is ready! It will stay fresh for up to a week in the fridge.
