This body butter’s secret is our home-grown, organic Olive oil. The Phoenicians, Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans used it as an anti-aging remedy and they also used it to treat wounds and to moisturize dry skin. Olive oil contains four major antioxidants which allow it to work as a cleanser, moisturizer, and protector of skin. Among these antioxidants are Vitamin A and Vitamin E. Vitamin E partly accounts for the anti-aging benefits of this substance because it helps restore skin elasticity. The lotion incorporates organic Shea butter, which is full of nutrients, including vitamin A, which has many healing properties and has been known to aid in treating stretch marks, eczema and dermatitis. Cocoa butter, one of the main ingredients in this butter, is high in antioxidants, which help fight off free radicals. It is also widely noted to help reduce stretch marks and it has been renowned for its ability to help heal scars. The essential oils combination provides a spicy citrus scent, which brings happiness and warmth to the mind, uplifts the mood, balances emotions and creates an amorous atmosphere.
